Here are a couple of characters from an iPhone game that I'm making. Each one represents one of the three races in my game world - Humans, Orc & Elves (H.O.E) I've been spending the greater part of this year learning Unity 3D. It's a very powerful game engine with a pretty easy learning curve. I'm hoping to have the game finished by the end of this year and available on the App store shortly thereafter. I'll post more art as I get closer to launch.

My flash project "Moonvale" is finally up! Check it out at andymation.com.

This has been a fun project for me. Over the last few years I've been dabbling in Actionscript 2.0 (AS2), the programming language for Flash, in an effort to learn game programming. I bought a few AS2 books and read every tutorial I could find online. This isn't a complete game, more like an exercise. I hope you enjoy going through Moonvale just as much as I had fun creating it!

Runes of Gallidon goes Beta

Runes of Gallidon is finally up. I'm really excited about this project. The idea is to build a community where artists can share creative ideas centered around a central theme. In short, it's an open source, user-generated fantasy world. The best part is that any artist contributing a work retains ownership of that work!

We're in beta, loading content, but you can check out the site at runesofgallidon.com.

Foster's has come to an end after almost five years of fun. I will really miss everyone on that show. I'll especially miss my morning walks with friends to Starbucks. Sadly, I had to leave before we finished the final episode, but I can't wait to see how it turned out.

I recently started a new project with some friends which is taking up most of my time. We had this crazy notion of starting our own business. The project is called Rune of Gallidon, an online fantasy world driven by the artistic community. I'll keep you posted as we get closeer to launch.

This has to be one of the most fun episodes I've done. We dive into Bloo's imagination as he tells Mac about a Super hero (himself) and the insurmountable obstacles he must overcome. For a colorist these are the shows you really look forward to.

A 2 star Hotel the Foster's crew has to stay in while their home is funigated for termites. My guess is that the name is a reference to the Saturday Night Live skit with Will Ferrel. Only Darrick knows for sure.

Flash Game

So I've been working on this flash game for longer then I care to mention. After about 5 renditions its almost finished! At this point its only a demo, but there is still lots to do. You can talk to villagers and help them with quests. Battle evil and vicious snakes! Even upgrade your armor. Here are a couple of screenshots.
